Music: Summertime by Janis Joplin, Big Brother & The Holding Company. Also performed live by Elif Savas, from Porgy and Bess by George Gershwin.
'Wet' is a movement response to an imagined trauma. When I was 3, I drowned in a motel hot tub near Disneyland. My sister found me blue, not moving, not floating. The image of myself through another set of eyes serves as my displaced memory. 'Wet' is my attempt to conjure an image just out of reach.
