A new grant for homeLA

We are thrilled to share that The California Arts Council has announced a grant award to homeLA as part of its Creative Youth Development program.

This grant will support homeLA's education program, inSITE, with two seasons site-specific dance and film mentorship in 2023 and 2024 for AB Miller High School Dance Conservatory Students in partnership with The Maloof Foundation.

We are so grateful to the CAC for supporting inSITE–a program developed in 2019 by homeLA’s Educations Directors, Jay Carlon and Samantha Mohr. After two years, inSITE is finally receiving comprehensive support for our students, staff and teaching artists, the conservatory’s dedicated leaders, and the generous folx at The Maloof. The state’s recognition of the merits of this program means so much to us.  We feel seen! Thank you.
— Chloë Flores, homeLA Executive and Artistic Director

homeLA was featured as part of a larger announcement from the California Arts Council, with grant awards for its Cycle B programming totaling more than $41 million across more than 900 grants supporting nonprofit organizations and units of government throughout the state.  Cycle B’s programs include funding opportunities for arts education and creative youth development, and related arts workforce development.
