Shared Practices: Next Sessions (December 2025)
Building on the momentum of Laying Groundwork for Shared Practices, this next phase brings together artists, curators, and institutional leaders for a series of working sessions at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Through dialogue and collaborative drafting, participants will co-develop two practical tools: a guiding framework for curators and institutions to more intentionally host performance, and a self-advocacy one-sheet for performers working in visual art contexts. The sessions aim to strengthen equity and labor standards across the field while fostering shared language and structural change.
