ICYMI: Redrawing the Rancho documentation is now available for viewing!

Redrawing the Rancho is an interdisciplinary performance program that confronts and reinterprets the narratives surrounding the Rowland Mansion—Southern California’s oldest surviving brick structure—and the intertwined histories of colonization, agriculture, and industrialization that shaped it.

It was curated by Chloë Flores and featured artwork by Eva Aquila, Nao Bustamante, Rosa Rodriquez Frazier, and Victoria Marks. This program was supported by a grant from the Mike Kelley Foundation for the Arts and produced in partnership with the La Puente Valley Historical Society. Additional support was by the California Arts Council, a state agency, and YOLA mezcal.

You can learn more about the project and watch the recap video on our YouTube Channel including documentation of artworks by Vic Marks, Nao Bustamante, Rosa Rodríguez-Frazier, and Eva Aguila.
